So, I now understand this is like an "online diary" that everyone can see. So I'm going to sum up what this month has been for me :) starting with AS exams; biology was pretty simple, chemistry wasn't too bad, physics was almost impossible, and maths and mechanics were pretty difficult. Finally finished though :) I've missed half a day of college this term (due to excruciating colic pains), which is an improvement for me! Most of July passed without problems, and I'm now looking into "Life after College," which seems crazy as I've got a whole 'nother year there! I've been on a couple of Uni visits, which is always nice :) and a trip to Thorpe Park! (Amazing theme park with the best rides for people who don't know), so all in all, June has been a good month, I feel :) And now as we creep into July, I'm feeling happy, at peace, and quite excited really, finally sorting out my car insurance, driving theory test, and continuing my lessons. Not only that, but I've contacted my surgeon about my surgery to construct a J-Pouch :) and just 1 day left at college before a nice long 8/10 week summer :)

I began my Urostomy life February 27th, 2023...a month and a half ago. I stumbled upon this site from another on Youtube and website called VeganOstomy and between that site and this one, most of my fear and worry of not having any answers other than calling the Dr's office recording menu and hoping to hear back in the next day or two for an answer to leaks, skin irritations etc, or just feeling alone and the "no one understands" thoughts I had to look forward to in my mind were all put to rest by these two websites and the community here at MaO!! I have been here for a few weeks now, and the help and support offered by the members here is just amazing!! The information and support is absolutely priceless for anyone recently out of their surgery and have tons of questions or had it for years...sit down...have a good read and you will see for yourself!!

Sorry, I posted a comment on one of your older blogs. Just some advice, but it's just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you decide, JNK.
