Crazy is on the bus. Next stop?

Anywhere USA.

Would you find it easier to dump empty into a larger container by standing up?

I speak of doing this out of practice. It saves knees, back, toilet paper, and clean-up time, of which there is none.

Very practical. Cheech and Chong "gotta go to the can, man." Indeed.

Maybe now since I’m not using the Adapt, I will go longer. But whew… that stuff really made my bag smell even with the filter 😕😷. My insurance pays 100%. I am very fortunate but I still try not to be wasteful.

I take part in these forums almost every day. They and the people that contribute to them have made all the difference in my having the courage to live a normal life with an ileostomy. The people here are marvelous and come from all walks of life and from all over the world. Hearing what others have lived through has really helped me put my own experience in perspective. I highly recommend all ostomates and caretakers of ostomates to come join us.

Everyone is different, I think? I don't know any different because this is what I started out with.

My insurance only wants to pay for M9 drops. I hardly use them because they just smell funky to me. I'd rather deal with output smell, which is rarely an issue anyway as I have an ileostomy that is often liquid and doesn't smell. But there is definitely a weird smell to them.

Sadly, I must agree. I found that not only does it have a weird smell, it doesn't work as intended.

I have found Safe'n'Simple Ostomy Deodorant to be the most effective deodorant and it has no odor. It can be purchased on Amazon.
