Posted by xnine

Lets celebrate and have a party.

Angelicamarie : Xí a very interesting post, but itís all about acceptance, it would be great if all ostomates started out at the same time. But life donít work that way, we all got here for different reasons , but we have arrived! Because of the ostomy, we are family! God Bless ! Angelicamarie
LadyHope : Did anyone celebrate the day? Maybe with a toast or a celebration.... I did... went out to dinner and was grateful I was here to celebrate. PS... I sent a short note to the Today Show which is a morning talk show in the US, hoping they would pick up the story.... they did not but there is always next year. I will keep trying.
catlove67 : Didn't know there was a World Ostomy day. I've had both my ostomies my entire life and probably would have celebrated as soon as I was old enough to do so.
