Jun 14, 2022 Mayoman : Hi ????...I wondered how people have been changed by the traumatic events of surgeries an ending up with an Ostomy of some type .
My self confidence was the first to go . My socialization skills just disappeared . Because of bad sleep and exhaustion my powers of thought and concentration disappeared for a long time . Every thought was preceeded by a thought about my Ileostomy !! The Ostomy stays in the back of my mind these days but is still there guiding many decisions . It's not as intrusive as it used to be .
