Meet & talk to fellow OstoMates 20,177 members

During the first day of February 2018 I had to undergo emergency surgery because of my colon popping open due to a blockage, during which I was septic, had to have an ovary and fallopian tube removed, and was given an ileostomy. I had it removed in the middle of July, and now I’m working on getting my Crohn’s symptoms under control and dealing with my new body image. I’d really just like to meet/talk with someone who understands a bit of the Struggle™️ who can maybe help support me and whom I can in turn support, even just as friends. It’s hard to reach out to people who may not even believe you when you talk about your symptoms.

Let’s not get bogged down by all that though! I enjoy archery, crafts, anime, manga, playing video games that I’m bad at, watching netflix, and generally just chilling. I look forward to getting to know each other!
