I am just a country bunkin. I love living out in the country away from the city - Dallas. I was raised with baby boomer values you know old school, I.e. respect your elders, no talking back to elders and do things the old fashioned way. But i am not saying that the younger people dont respect their elders, i really meant my hobbies i list after this. I love gardening (growing veggies n fruits), fishing, wake boarding, sewing, canning, crocheting, trying to learn knitting and quilting. Well I haven't got back to my outdoor activities yet, I'm still recovering from my surgery and cancer. What I hope to get out of this site is answers to questions about my stoma and condition when I am feeling something weird and trying to come out of my shell that I have built with the "new" me. A support system from people who know what I am going through and have gotten to the other side of things.
