Well, I am no longer an ostomate, I am a j-poucher! I had my final of three surgeries (1.) colectomy + ileostomy, 2.) j-pouch formation and 3.) ileostomy reversal) in December 2009 and I have been living with a j-pouch since then! I am a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. I currently work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as an engineer there. In my free time I play guitar, go outside (bike, boat, backpack, whatever), racquetball, frisbee... whatever piques my interest at the time. I'm pretty easy going generally so don't hesitate to talk to me! I can offer plenty of advice on ileostomies and living with one or we can talk about something completely different to take your mind off of the bag. Best of health to you all!

......Anyone. I don't care. I get along with everyone. Check the age range. :-)
