About
I'm a very recent ostomy patient (2/14) and I have been so devastated and cannot accept this condition at all. I'm alone (single) and I really would have been more tolerant of this if I were with someone who loved and supported me, It's a lonely condition, I'm scared to go out much. I do have friends and family for support, but i really need affection, someone who understands me and my condition and isn't afraid to come near me. Other friends would also be a great plus, I have no idea how life is for other people like me, my doctor didn't explain how life changing this surgery would be. This is only temporary and I am awaiting resection any time now. I have learned that i can except anyone in this condition without being afraid of getting close. I know I may be one of the lucky ones, this has been my fourth colon surgery in almost 6 years. I really am lost for words, but I'd like to communicate with everyone I possibly can.

Thanks

Tim
