Just want to talk to some people who are just as new at this, everyone says my sad feelings are normal, but that word has lost its context with me, nothing feels normal. Oh yeah, I forgot, it's the "new normal".

Update: 2 years in, and things have changed so much. My life has returned to something resembling "normal", and yes it is the dreaded NEW normal. But I can't complain, I'm alive and doing fairly well. I've finally reached the point where I can talk about what's happened, without tears, and with a positive outlook for my life!
