After fighting tooth and nail to NOT have an ostomy for over a decade, my ileostomy surgery in 2016 changed my life in an amazing way. It has greatly improved my quality of life and ability to travel and be active. Not only am I trying to embrace this wonderful knew me, I’ve become an empty nester and am enjoying exploring new opportunities. And trying to feel my best while I am at it!
