No expectations...just check this thing out!

A little about me: I found out I had colorectal cancer on New Years Eve, 2015. Had APR and permanent colostomy in February, 2016. I've been hospitalized twice more for blockages, adhesions, along with another abdominal surgery in June, 2016. My newish relationship (6 months prior to the diagnosis) couldn't handle all the body changes and left.

***June, 2022 UPDATE: I'm so fortunate to be here! I'm happy that my relationship didn't survive back then! I have found real happiness! I found myself and God! No religion, just sacred appreciation for everyday I get to be here! I don't know if I would have ever reached this place without the cancer experience. Living in gratitude.***

I am alive and am currently on an extended stay pass! I don't have time to waste! I want to live the remainder of my life with love, truth, and curiosity. I want to be courageous and kind to myself and others. I want to leave a legacy of love and connectedness for every life I touch!

How about you?
