I am 41, dad to two young kids. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer recently. According to my surgeon, I will need a colostomy bag from July 2017 onwards when I will be be fitted with one during my surgery.

I am having a lot of worry about living with the bag.

Just made me realize how vain I am! :(

My kids jump on my tummy and play with me, that has to stop.:( I sleep shirtless at night. Maybe that has to stop? Probably I can't sleep or lie upside down or to the side where my stoma is going to be? Air travel must be pain, the screening at airports.

I see lot of bags in pictures that look huge to me. I rarely pass that much waste one time or over several days. I googled stealth belts, disposable bags. Looks like I can't afford disposable bags.

I am looking to get support and advice from people like me.
