(Update to my profile...Ileostomy Takedown (Reversal) was done on October 15, 2019).....I am interested in meeting others who deal with an ostomy. Mine was due to botched surgery, and I’m not sure if it can be reversed, and won’t know for a couple of months. All is know is that life has changed, but I don’t want it to change me....I love being happy and enjoying all life has to offer...I am artsy, I love music, mostly rock/alternative/metal 😎 I have lots of friends, but my best friend is my dog, who got me through my surgeries by being next to me while recovering. I have two adult sons who are awesome and living their lives happily 😀 I am basically a positive person, this surgery threw me for a loop, but I’m learning to deal....I don’t think anyone would choose to have an ostomy, but if that is our only choice, then I’d rather be around a positive person who deals with this, who will find a way to continue to enjoy all life has to offer. 😎
