About
I had an ostomy placed October of 2020 due to a spinal cord injury. I have Cauda Equina Syndrome and have numbness in my bottom, legs and feet and I do not have control of my bowel and bladder. My injury happened in April 2019 and I was having problems since then with incontinence and the pressure that I had to use to have a bowel movement was causing problems. The solution is a colostomy. It has been nice to be able to somewhat control my bowels. I am new to this, so I am looking for any tips and tricks as well as general information. Thank you all!
