It's just not worth the effort to log in.

Boredom can be a very destructive emotional force and like many such forces that come my way I find myself struggling to nullify it wherever I can. Hence the rhyming verses for when other techn iques don't work so well.

BOREDOM.



I think that I would be a fraud

if I said I don't get bored.

Each day I try my very best  

but boredom puts me to the test.



I like to think that on the whole

I always have some self-control.

So every time it comes my way

I try to keep boredom at bay.



Boredom is insidious

destructive and invidious.

When life gets stuck in medium

it's hard to bear the tedium.



I like to find some small reward

whilst avoiding getting bored

and any tiny little thing

for me enlightenment might bring.



I try to turn all negatives

around to make them positives.

within my mind I can't afford

to slide that slope of getting bored.



I've seen some folks who seem to be

so much less boring than me.

I raise my hat and I applaud

those people who just don't get bored.



Unfortunately that's not me

although it's how I'd like to be.

No need to lie or to pretend

for boredom drives me round the bend.



But I am constantly on guard

as well as working very hard

and everything I do's toward

never, ever getting bored.
