It held up fine in the heated pool, I didn’t do a lot, basically floated around & then got out, but no issues with it holding. I even did a shower afterward without issue. For the most part, he's well-behaved apart from the odd battle cry he lets out at 2 a.m. some nights, startling me into action in the darkness. I think he does it just to remind me that he's still there fighting my corner.

I'm a new ostomate. I have a colostomy and have had it since January. I believe that it is going to be permanent.
I am seeking friendship and advice.

I found out this morning that on October 8th I will be admitted to the hospital for my sigmoid loop colostomy reversal! I am very excited and extremely nervous. This is definitely what I've wanted since getting the colostomy, but now I'm scared. What if it doesn't go well and I have problems with incontinence? That is my worst nightmare!
