Upon my OOBER trips around
one of the main things that I found
was that the people that I saw
were not in pain and not at war.
Although I feel it must be said
most folks I met I thought were dead,
so they no longer felt the need
to fight for what I see as greed.
The things that mattered in their life
were no longer causing strife
for they had realised the truth
that they had found eternal youth.
There’s nothing now worth fighting for
like they may have thought of before
because there is no need of wealth
and, indeed no need for health.
This state that OOBER folks are in
is not a place for human sin
so, greed and power has no sway
and therefore simply has no say.
It might be hard to understand
that no one has the upper hand
and nobody desires this
so nobody will come amiss.
There’s no need for a hierarchy
and all that politics malarkey,
where humans have no morals so
on their devious way they go.
Yet when they’re in an OOBER state
there is no need to love or hate,
it’s all a state of in-between
where there’s no motive to be mean.

I think that we should understand
with OOBER, we’ve no need for land
and everything material
becomes quite immaterial.
This is a new dimension, where
everything there is, we share,
or rather, it is simply ‘there’
and nobody then needs to care.
The weather does not bother us
so, there’s no need to make a fuss
when the weather gets too bad
for humans, in the ways it had.
Food is no longer what we need
for we no longer have to feed
because we have no body, so
there’s nowhere for the food to go.
No body, means no illnesses,
no endless, friendless hopelessness,
none of the frustrations we saw
in the life we had before.
This is no place for politics
or other crazy lunatics
who crave a power that’s complete,
for OOBER makes this obsolete.
These sorts of things suited mankind
but OOBER leaves these things behind
so we are freed from those constraints
and therefore will have no complaints.
The use of OOBER all the time
would mean I would not write my rhyme
because it’s a utopian
replacing what’s draconian.
Literature seems out of date
when we are in an OOBER state.

Within OOBER I can recall
my body was not there at all,
so all my angst and pain was gone
and I could simply carry on.
No more stoma and the shit
that always seemed to go with it,
no more finding toilets when
that bag needs emptying agén.
No more cluttered bathrooms where
there’s not much room for us to share
and no more incidents to clean
or accidents that seemed so mean.
No more chrohns or IBS
to cause more pain and more distress.
No more fear of cancer, or
things like Covid as before.
No more concern about what’s wrong,
as that was worldly all along
and now we don’t inhabit that,
a different world is where we’re at.
No more financial worries to
send our lives and minds askew,
for in an OOBER dimension
money’s an invalid invention.
The same with housing and transport
or anything that we once bought,
for there is nothing we will need
and nothing useful to concede.
I like the thought of OOBER, where
we do not have a single care,
for all is set up fair and square
and nothing bad can happen there.
This is the basis of my text
exploring what just might come next.
