Good morning/evening.

So it's that time of the year where we're being forced to spend extraordinary amounts of money on gifts. I know Christmas is supposed to be about spending time with family and loved ones. So to have a bit of fun, what did someone buy you for Christmas that you hated or found funny? For me, I would have to say the worst gift I received was bath salts that I couldn't use due to the fact that I don't have a bathtub. Another one is when I used to work, we did Secret Santa and I received a tube of KY jelly. xx

I am so going to give that KY as a Secret Santa gift this year. That's hilarious

Ha..Ha .....Hi Cazand did anyone ask you out on a little date after you opened your lovely gift lol....anywink n a nod from one of the lads, maybe it was one of the girls?? I should stop here cause there are some amazing little romantic vignettes bouncing around in my tiny ManBrain....and they would get me banned if I went there.

I'm not doing much shopping this year. Kitty's Kiddies 2, have to get a few nice ones. Probably going to stay with them for a few days. We would normally go to my other brother's house but not this year. His son and lovely, wonderful wife just had another baby yesterday!!! So I'm an uncle once again, don't even ask how many?! With a family of 10, 3 girls, 7 boys (I'm number 7), the production rate for New Morans... not Morons... be careful.. is quite impressive. That's the second addition this year.

Will be staying far away, the baby's mom is a pediatric nurse and so far everyone is Covid free...

Hope you are taking care Caz, my lovely friend. Hugs from The Cal Redwoods

Hi Caz....

OK, well I will pitch in my two cents.....

One year my Secret Santa gave me a huge tin of Hershey Kisses.

I enjoyed every single one of them.

HoHoHo,

From: Yoonohoo....lol

I once received a garden statue of a tortoise made out of elephant dung from the zoo. It was awesome... environmentally friendly and fertilized my garden every time it rained!

Haha....now that's what you call the very picture of recycling. Brilliant idea!!

Hey!!! I could start a cow-sit recycling program in Ireland.

..No shortage of cows.

Yeah, I think you can burn them for fuel too if they're dried out enough. :) Do they have cowchip throwing contests in Ireland like they do here???

I have to say that my presents were a lot better than what my sister got off her husband. He bought her an iron. As if that wasn't bad enough, he went to a charity shop and bought her a jumper that was too big and had a bleeding hole in it. I think I did pretty well compared to her. XX

Here's a fun one: My mom gave me a "personalized" coffee cup once, with my name spelled wrong. I hope she didn't pay too much.

For sure. I broke when I moved a few states over, but it was a favorite for sure!

I would have given it back and told her that it was for her other daughter.

Maybe I should send her one of her own with her sister's name on it...

And add a little comment on the side saying "Love you most" or something like that.

The first four gifts are the same - something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. In our house, these are the Santa gifts and they're easy to do because we get to discuss them and put them into our Santa letters. If you would like to have a creative gift, then I would prefer to have a few funny custom beer koozies as they are printed in a different color, quotes, and more... Koozies as gifts could maybe be your Christmas funny gift that you were looking for.
