About MeetAnOstoMate

MeetAnOstoMate was launched in 2006 and is run by a small, dedicated team who put their time and energy into running the site.

This is not your typical ostomy website. It's a unique community where people connect over shared experiences, talk about anything and everything, share laughs, offer support, and provide a shoulder to lean on. Everyone here understands what it means to live with an ostomy because they're living it too.

One of the most valued features on MeetAnOstoMate is the ability to search for members by location, gender, age, and other criteria. Many members use this to find someone to talk to, build friendships, or even start relationships. Over the years, many meaningful connections have been made here.

The site also offers private messaging, photo galleries, ostomy knowledge guides, educational videos, and even OstoAI - an artificial intelligence trained on information from our community. These tools are designed to help members feel supported and informed in a safe and caring environment.

Privacy is very important to us. Many features on the site are only visible to members, ensuring that you can share your story and connect with others in a secure space.
