Turning 80

Never thought I'd reached 80, yet here I am. Numerically I can't deny that I'm 80 but my subjectively age ,that's a whole other thing altogether, don't know how old I feel and it's nowhere near that, not even close and that's a good thing! Some of the articles I've read about the subjective age say that good genes have a lot to do with it. Personally I prefer Wranglers and who would ever thunk that dungarees would have so much to do with how old you feel! Amazing!

Great attitude Hap!  Hope your wardrobe in the next 20 years surprises you even more.

Good for you. I feel so much younger than my age number, keep up the good attitude.

Ha. That’s why I wear stretchy jeans, keeps me feeling 18.

After putting that post out there about genes and wranglers, I happen to look in my closet and there are nine pair of jeans hanging there. Maybe there's some truth in my tongue and cheek comment about genes and wranglers. Maybe I stumbled on that proverbial fountain of youth and gave away that information for free. DAMN, could've made a fortune on that!

67. Woo hoo! Celebrated by getting back on my bicycle (after I broke my hand in a bike accident 2 months ago). Take THAT, you stupid bike! Can't keep me down!

Turned 89 three days ago.  Have had my ileo for 72 years!  I’m older than dirt, for sure.  Neuropathy, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome.  Other than that, doing okay.  I had to give up a lot of fav foods to get along with the ileo, but that’s how I coped.  I never thought I would reach this age.  I read the posts and replies.  Good info and sharing!
