Hi Ty. I had a J-Pouch for 6 years and it worked great. Unfortunately, it had to go because of precancerous tissue in the area. I would not discourage anyone from having a J-pouch providing ;his or her ;colo-rectal surgeon ;was highly experienced with this kind of surgery. Do you have any particular questions about this ;procedure or about living with the pouch?
