AboutAfter a long hiatus, I am back.
I've been an osty since December 13, 1991 due to severe Crohn's disease. Since my proctocolectemy, I have been in remission. Pretty active athletically and socially.
Although I enjoy my singlehood, a companion would be nice. I'm more of a Genx pop culturally speaking. I spend most of my time reading, writing, hiking, camping, volunteering, and hanging with my dog. I'm globally minded. Engaged in nonviolence studies, human rights, and environmental issues. I'm an introvert but I can work a room as I'm not shy. I like my solitude as well as company.
My guy has worked through the self-pity over having an ostomy. It's saved our life. So let's live it! My guy is kind, well groomed, well read, environmentally conscious, creative, and is surrounded by a diverse group of friends and family of all colors, genders (or none), and social class.
