Momma J-Pouch
member

About
I have a J-pouch with chronic pouchitis. My final surgery took place near the end of 2018. I have struggled with yo-yo-ing weight for years until a new medication caused me to start gaining and retaining weight. Due to the J-pouch (and subsequent pelvic floor collapse), I'm scared of figuring out a healthy way to lose weight and get healthier without jeopardizing my J-pouch in any way. I am a momma of 3 with a full time job, and my kids do school from home. To say I'm tired is to put it lightly. I'm looking for help with finding a path to being healthy and even getting fit (day I say) in a community that understands the dangers to my body and health and will not recommend things that could be harmful to my pouch.
