I have an ileostomy since June 2021, permanent with a rectal stump and no large colon. I had lots of complications such as septic and was in the hospital a total of 17 days in critcal care. Emergency ileostomy due to first resection did not last over 48 hours. Two back-to-back surgeries. I have had Anus pain ever since and have had two epidural nerve blocks that doesn't really help the pain. I am hoping to keep reading as much as possible to help talking to my nerve block doctor that puts the nerve block in. Sometimes just reading, listening to others helps with my situation. Thank you.
