I've had a urostomy for almost 5 years now. I developed bladder cancer due to a neurogenic retaining bladder I acquired in an automobile collision at 16.
I don't have expectations.
I just feel stuck right here and now in this weird limbo of ending a 27 year abusive relationship that reached intolerable levels of cruelty when I lost my bladder to cancer.
I'm working on acceptance and healing my relationship with myself.
My daughter fills my heart with gratitude daily, and a few other less warm and fuzzy emotions at times because she's 13 and teenaging takes no prisonersđŸ˜….
I love the natural beauty where I live.
