Have two cats that are my babies , and a great family. Work in advertising sales for a small company here in Western MA now.

Life changed in early 2011 with diagnosis/surgery for colon cancer due to Crohns, wit a total colectomy. That plus a little kidney tumor they found at same time that was ablated.

Almost a year later and I survived! I had relocated back to Western MA to go thru this with family nearby, and after all the surgeries and clearance from docs, started a job in my field in August and recently went full time.

Have not dated. Have shared my status with some prospective dates on other sites, Cancer freaks them out I think. Even though I am now a Survivor.

While I don't have an ostomy bag, it is a possibility down the road in life. I feel closer to this community than most others as cancer and the colectomy have changed my life, my diet .
