Bloody or Pink Rectal Discharge After Long Period of None

tl;dr bloody/pink rectal discharge. 3-4 weeks of daily and multiple (2-6) daily rectal discharge...up until 3-4 weeks ago ive had almost zero rectal discharge.

I've had an ostomy for 10 years now. They had to remove my colon because of how bad the crohns was.

I've gone 10 year with almost 0 rectal discharge. I may have had some once every 6 months. I'm not jumping on the "Covid Vaccine Caused X" train so bear with me. I started having rectal discharge daily and multiple times daily literally the week after I received the Covid Vaccine...I'm not saying theres a correlation. 

Forget the vaccine...has anyone else gone a long time with no discharge then all of a sudden experience alot of discharge? Should i worry about pink/red discharge?

i have. usually the uptick for me is an indication of active crohns in the stump.  doc usually treats it with a short course of steroids. 

I had my operation in dec 2016 . I didn't have any discharge for the first month or so then big white muces ball. After a couple of  months it started to bleed and they gave me anti inflamatorys . They worked for almost a year then they stopped working . I asked my gasalagest why it was bleeding all the time . He told me because I have not waste going through it and there is bactria that it needs . So I stopped taking the drugs and put probiotics in water and shoot that in to my stump which works . Not all the time but sometimes when there is a discharge there is a little pink on the toilet paper . And when it sarts to bleed again I shoot more probiotcs . I hope this helps you . Good luck .

I did not have a discharge for a long time. Then one day it felt like I needed to have a bowel movement real bad and had a lot of pain. I used to have a lot of trouble with constipation.and could not pass the stool that is what it felt like. I put on some gloves and felt inside and I felt something hard. I finally got it out and it was a hard lump. I found out later if the mucus does not come out it will get hard like that. I started having the discharge one to three times a week. Now I have a little about ever day then when I have a movement it is more. I have not had any color to it. Hope this helps best wishes and stay safe.
