Ostomy Memories of T'Giving Leftovers

IT IS A WELL-KNOWN TRUISM THAT Thanksgiving leftovers are often better than the holiday meal itself. You can raid the ‘fridge in peace, after all the relatives have gone back to their own retreats. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner… nothing beats warmed up dressing, which happens to go wonderfully with eggs, and cranberry sauce on the side. Same with ham and, to a lesser extent, turkey. Depending upon the volume of leftovers tucked away in Tupperware and various other storage containers, you can make a Thanksgiving pig-out last for days. The predominant post-Turkeyday exercise seems to be lifting fork to mouth. But it can’t last forever. Eventually, Thanksgiving leftovers suffer one of two fates. Either they get tossed and end up garbage, or they get eaten, and end up memories.
Alternate less refined special audience ending: Eventually, Thanksgiving leftovers suffer one of two fates. Either they get tossed and end up in garbage bags, or they get eaten, and end up in ostomy bags.

These are the top 5 issues ostomates face:

1. Dating and relationships
2. Concealing the pouch
3. Foods to eat and avoid
4. Losing or gaining weight
5. Pouch ballooning
