I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in September of 2013. End of January 2014 came the big surgery that resulted in my having a colostomy along with other bits they decided I didn't need! Still going through chemo right now. Rough road but things are getting better, I try to be very positive most of the time but no one can go through something as life altering as this and not have a bad day here and there! ;)

I was widowed a little over 3 years ago and have a handsome and intelligent 14 year old son who I adore. He is just an all around great kid, if I do say so myself!

These days I read a lot, spend time with friends and family and my pets. Starting to go out and enjoy the things I liked before. I am more of the fishing, friends, bonfire kinda gal. Country bred lol!
