About
Hello. I just happened upon this site while looking for an ostomy support group. I'm looking forward to meeting and talking to others that are dealing with an ostomy. In Sept 06 I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and had to have a permanent ostomy. I am a Christian and believe strongly in what God can do and know without a doubt that He is the one that has gotten me through this life. I have two wonderful children that keep me very, very busy and I am absolutely crazy about them. It is hard writing about me, but I guess I would be considered a down to earth, sincere, spiritual person. Things that I enjoy are baking, yardwork and visiting different restaurants and coffeehouses (I enjoy my coffee), going to musical concerts and plays and spending time with my children, of course. I am active in my church and also volunteer driving cancer patients back and forth for treatments. Once again, I look forward to getting to know others on this website. God bless, Debi Right now, I am just looking for friends, someone to talk to and share our experiences with.
