About
Hi! Vanessa here. I'm due for a urostomy in a couple of weeks' time. I'm really nervous and anxious about this despite having a really neat surgeon and good nursing crew. It would be great to meet someone out there - male or female - who can fill me on general things they experience and how they have adjusted to with their
ostomy(ies).

Im 37 years old and pretty well educated. Done a Certificate in Social Services, Diploma in Disability and Community Support, a Certificate in Call Centre Operations and Certificates in Medical Reception and Medical Secretary.

I love animals - especially dogs and horses. I really love swimming, working out at the gym and travelling. Generally I am pretty well rounded.

I would love to meet a person (people) who enjoy life and would give most things a go. I have a physical disability and petit mal seizures but I don't let that get in the way - they don't rule my life.

The person (people) must also have a good sense of humour and be genuine.

I don't really mind what I'm looking for in terms of a relationship with a person or how long as long as I can relate to them with these kinds of issues.

I don't abide by specific religions or things like that. I just believe in living a well-balanced and happy life.
