Hey. I've had multiple surgeries on my bowels. Total colectomy then a reversal j-pouch made which failed and caused a fistula and abscess in the rectom area. So I got a temp loop ostomy to give that area a break. Really hard times dealing with depression and helplessness. I roughed it out with the help of family and friends. Feels like I lost years of living life to it's fullest and I'm ready to make up for it. I finally got my permanent ostomy. The doc did a great job and I'm hopping that was the last surgery. Can't wait to get on with life again. I'm looking to meet some people who have been through similar experiences. I'm a self employed Canadian and hope to start a family one day in beautiful British Columbia but I love to travel around Canada! I'm presently in southern Ontario.
