Meet & talk to fellow OstoMates 20,177 members

Hi there! I am Cassandra. I work for a non-profit foundation. I really love my job and feel lucky to have it. I have had Crohn's Disease for 9 years and just had major surgery in January 2009 and woke up from surgery with an ostomy. What a life change at 25!! But I am so lucky to be alive and be who I am. I love to travel, read, plant things in my garden (sometimes LoL), and anything that puts a smile on my face. I'm very laid back and easy going. I have a son who is 5 years old, going on 15! He spends a lot of his time with my ex-in-laws. He is so lucky to have them - as am I. He has such a great time and life because of them!! I really don't know what else to say about myself. If you want to know something - just ask me. I'm pretty much an open book. :)

I don't know what I am looking for - I don't really have an expectation from joining this site except to meet new people and possibly a new friend. I truly believe you can't ever have too many friends!
