About
Hi There!Despite my handle "charleston_sunny", I now live in Maryland. My name is Shannon. I had a short 4 years in Charleston, SC, where I was diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer. Yay me! It was sometime after my diagnosis that I realized I needed to return "home", which is Maryland. It's coming up on 3 years since my diagnosis (Jan 2018) and I've been kicking cancer's butt ever since.
The surgery to remove my tumor, a perfect text-book surgery according to my surgeon, ended up with my poo leaking into my abdomen. So, long story short, I now have a colostomy that could possibly be reversed, but I've opted not to due to so many risks. I dunno, maybe one day I'll take the risk and see if a reversal will work. My colostomy (her name is Lucy because she is a crazy red head) does not run my life, usually. I am fortunate enough that I irrigate Lucy every 24 hours so I have a lot of control. For my cancer, it's under control...currently just in watch mode.
I use holistic medicine as well as conventional medicine. I am in tune with my energy and use amazing technologies to keep my body purring like a kitten. I am positive and am on the path to living an abundant, love filled life.
I am totally nervous about having a relationship...I've been told that I need to be more open to it. OK!
Looking forward to talking with you, so drop me a line. Only positive need apply...lol!!
