I am a married retired wife and grandmother who has been going through problems resulting in having an ostomy and then having the reversal. Something went wrong and I had to have another osteomyelitis and have been told this time it is permanent. I have been very depressed and am hoping meeting other people with same challenges might help me to cope better. At the moment this consumes my every waking moment and has made me question if I want to continue living with this condition. I am a Christian and feel guilty for these feelings and just pray someone out there will help me find a way to cope with what I can’t change at the moment. I would love to hear from anyone who can relate.
