Hi. I was a super healthy and active wife and mom of two boys, working out and gardening daily. Imagine my surprise and shock to receive a colorectal cancer diagnosis at 47. No family history. No risk factors.

Unfortunately, the cancer, Ostomy, chemo and radiation were the easier part. Two years and seven surgeries to fix functional blockages has taken it's toll on my confidence to be active in this world.

The good news is that I am now healthy and still active, just more tentative to try new things. Looking for solutions to everyday problems (what jeans work with an Ostomy?), inspiration to travel and try new things and generally people like me, so I don't feel quite so alone as an Ostomate.
