Artsy Lady

I was a self employed potter happily living in WV. In 2015 it became clear that my mom had dementia and I was the only one of my siblings who was able to care for her. So I packed up my home and studio and moved to Illinois to become her caretaker.
About a year later, I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and was given an emergency colonoscopy. Six months later, after chemo and radiation, I received my 2nd, permanent colonoscopy.
Today I am cancer free and continue to be a caregiver.

I seriously don't have a lot of free time but would like to meet a friend, locally, to walk with, occasionally meet for coffee or a drink and to have someone to talk to. I am not interested in communicating with anyone who supported Trump.

I'm also hoping this site will be a source of information and encouragement.
