Meet & talk to fellow OstoMates Support | Friendship | Dating 21,015 members

Recently reminded of how valuable support was to me in the early years of having a stoma. When life is busy and just rattling by it is easy to forget how vulnerable we can all be from time to time and how important being on the same wavelength is when talking about a seemingly unusual condition. UC hit be out of the blue 12 years ago and within 3 days of diagnosis I was minus one very important organ! After about 4 years of pouch ops and then back to stoma I was forced to give in and realise the new me. Problem is, I have so much to do!!!!! Would be nice to hook up with people on the same situation whether single and looking or just folk looking to talk. I am sane, solvent and smiley! X
