Originally from New England, I\'ve been in Arizona for 11 years now and love the high desert. It has taken a while to learn new gardening techniques but I\'m loving it. I paint and have had several successful exhibits. I also design jewelry. I am an avid reader of both fiction and non fiction. I have two fine sons both grown and into their lives. I\'ve had the ostomy for about four months now and am doing very well - life is actually returning to some kind of normal. I\'d love to chat with men and women both on the challenges of having a colostomy. I have only recently had mine - four months - but am doing very well. Still it would be nice to talk with someone other than a nurse about day to day situations and solutions to little issues that come up.
