I was working as a IT Programmer until July last year when I broke my back due to the vast amount of steroids I had when I was younger, I’ve had Crohns since I was about 14 years old. I enjoy music, going to gigs, socialising with my friends, walking, cinema, travelling (I last went to Prague and loved it) and much more.

I had my OP in 2004 to have my large bowel permanently removed. It’s irreversible but you’ve just got to learn to live with it.

I spend my time now working from home, going out with my friends and trying to stay fit. I have a really supportive family thanks to my Grandma who had 8 children, so I have a large family. If you want to know anything else, just ask!

I’d just like to make some friends that are in the same boat as me. I’d ideally like romance but doesn’t everybody? My ex couldn’t handle it (my ileostomy) and it’s really knocked my confidence. I’d like to get some of that back.
