Hi guys,
I'm not really sure what I'm expecting from joining this site, I suppose a little comfort that i'm not the only one and a little bit of help wrapping my head around the idea of having a stoma.

At the present time i have not been operated on, i was given an infliximab infusion yesterday 27/7/11 so today is d-day to see if the infusion has taken affect on my Crohns. If not then I will unfortunately be fitted with a bag and at the age of 26 with a 2 year old frightens the jeebies out me, I will not know until I come out of surgery if this will be reversible as obviously things can change when they're in there. I'm scared in case my depression (sufferer of PND) takes a dip and I'm unable to care for my little girl properly, my partner is Fantastic and I know he will be there for me the full time I just feel this is going to be a massive strain on our family life.
Well thanks if you've took the time to read my story and I hope to hear from some people who are or have been in similar situations.
