Almost 15 years ago I had my colon removed and got a J-pouch.
For the past few years I've had chronic pouchitis. This past May the pouch sprung a leak, which lead to sepsis and a fistula. I was in the hospital most of May and I'm told that I almost checked out. Right now I have an ostomy while everything heals up. I've been putting weight back on and working out and feeling pretty good. In September I'll have tests and figure out if I can have my J-pouch back or if it'll be the external bag forever. This thing doesn't define me. I'd like to meet women who get it. Those who are in the same boat or don't have a problem with it.

That's enough about my health. I'll tell you more about me if you like. Drop me a line!
