Hi all, i have had an ACE button for 12 yrs now , but as it's now not behaving itself and not working there have been discussions with my surgeon about either a colostomy or ileostomy, i had a feeling this was going to be coming along at some stage and have finally sort of got my head around having "a bag" have looked at several videos on you tube about people dealing with living with "a bag" and i think it has helped me get my head around it, but would be nice to get the views and insights of others living with it already and how you deal with differant situations, no one seems to understand quite how worried and stressed i am about having yet another op..(had both hips replaced TWICE and also the ACE op) recovery was quite long after the ACE and i have never had anyone to talk to as i am the only person now in south wales apparently with one. I'm rambling now but i'm sure you all know what i'm going on about.. I was always a fun loving happy person but all this has knocked my confidence so much i just want to find me again and have a laugh and a joke about things with people who understand...ta muchness for reading :o) xxx
