Love Has No Color

Posted by Angelicamarie, on Wed Jul 24, 2019 3:02 am

 G'morning

The following is about 2 stories where children see no color.

This is about two little girls who are 4 years of age. though they have different skin colors say they're twins.

Preschool "twins" take a stand against discrimination/Utube

Toddler defends her choice of a selected doll, much to the astonished and confused target cashier.

Toddler tells cashier she wants a black doll because she's pretty/Utube

Many of us, both young and old adults, can learn from these two stories. " Even children can teach us if we listen."

Best Wishes,

Angelicamarie

Hello Angelicamarie.

Thanks for another interesting post. Prejudice and discrimination are 'learned' rather than instinctive so young children who are naive to the expectations of others stand a much better chance of avoiding the pitfalls of human hatred.

Best wishes

Bill

G’morning Bill, true that! I have said in another post if you put children of all races outside in a play area. They would see no color!
