The Time-The Bird

This is a song written by The late Prince, Morris Day and Jesse Johnson, it was first recorded in 1983. Its not a slow jam, definetly a joint that makes you want to dance.

The Time-The Bird(single Version) 1985-Utube

OK Angel, I listened to it.  You know I'm an old white guy and when it comes to pop music, I'm kinda stuck in the 50's.  I spent a lot of time on American Bandstand and got to meet some of the greats.  I still listen to some of the Do-op stuff from the Mellow Kings, Lee Andrews, the Platters, etc.  To me they did music.  To me there's not a lot of music today.  Maybe I'm not keeping up with the evolution of R&R but I thank you for reminding me there's other stuff out there.

Sincerely,

Mike

Mike... How true, the music they make today, heck you can’t even understand the words. What does white have to do with appreciation of music- nothing. Thanks!
