Hi all, hope you're all having a good day. I have a question maybe somebody could answer for me: I am using Hollister flange and pouch. Question, would Eakin Rings be compatible with Hollister. Thanking you in advance, Ed

Guttenberg I have been using the eakin coheasive seal with hollister waffer and seal and I don't use any paste . I have had no problems

I am scheduled for my reversal on 12/4. All my pre-admin stuff is completed and my GI signed off on the clearance letter this morning. I am super excited and looking forward to not having a bag. I just hope all goes well and heals well so I don't wake up with a temp bag which will lead to yet another surgery.

I have learned a lot from this website and will continue to be on here even after surgery. To all the ostomates out there, keep your heads up and keep pressing forward. We all have good and bad days. Best of luck to you all.

I will be sure to post my progress after surgery. I'm praying for you all.

I think that my use of the rings has contributed to the leaks I've been getting at the seal between the plastic ring and the fabric - as in my previous post. I've stopped using for now and things do seem a little better so maybe there was a corrrelation for some reason?

i use the ekins seals and i also have hollister adhsive spray#7730 the only problem i have is i melt the wax rings away so the spray helps me as a back up

Hi Ed, I have uses both without any problems altho I like Hollister rings better, but of course different things work for different people

They will work just fine, I use them myself with no adverse affect. I have two bags, lucky me, and I have to use cement on the side for urine, but use the rings on the other side. That side is my good child, the other side is my problem child. HA! Jeanie
