Showering with Ostomy Bag - Tips for Protection

Don't bother with a cap or cover. I swim in an 89-degree pool and shower, and it lasts for 7 days. Convatec SureFit 2-piece.

I use Saran Wrap and it works pretty well. The bag gets a little wet, but for the most part it is covered. Saw this on YouTube and thought I would give it a try, and for now it does the trick!

I do this also, towel blot my and wait till it's dry and then get dressed. Dries pretty fast.

To me, it appears that you remove the bag and replace this cap onto the flange. And after removing the cap, rinse and pop on a new bag.

I just shower or swim, no problem. I use Hollister brand.
