I've been wanting to get a Crohn's disease tattoo or something for my ileostomy, anybody out there have any? Couldn't really find any good ones while searching..

So you got me interested. Did a search. I found this one. It's on someone's wrist it appears. Kind of nice.

Hi,

Not blowing my own trumpet or anything, but I was at the healthiest I had ever been prior to getting UC symptoms. I was eating very healthy and exercising 6/7 days. I'd love to know if any lifestyle factors affect UC, but I suppose I'll have to wait until they figure out what causes it.

I've been trying to occupy myself by being in contact with friends often, but some days I am really not in the mood and find it hard to drag my mind away from what ends up being a mountain of thoughts. I suppose it's all part of the learning process and I'm sure it'll happen less with time. This website has been great so far. It's great to be able to write this sort of stuff down and chat with people that understand what's going on. For that, I thank everyone on this website.

Thanks,

Hamish.

Hi spooky

I do not have one to do with an ostomy, and my daughter is a tattoo artist.

If you do a search on here, you will find some talk but not a lot of pics.

If you do get a stoma-related tattoo, you will be obliged to post pics; it's in the rules. 🤣

It says I’m still standing. They took a lot of my insides out. That’s the reason for the tree with some of its branches missing. Then cancer ribbon at the bottom.

I have a 13" scar from my sternum to my groin. Waiting for it to fully heal up. Tempted to cover it with a full length zip tattoo.

Just some advice...please don't put it near your stoma. Your stoma will more than likely be moved around in the future.

Hi. I have a purple ribbon on my arm. A friend did it for me. I've got Crohn's/Colitis.

Scars are like tattoos, but with a better story.
