Heading in to surgery

This topic is about someone who is getting ready for surgery to remove a J-pouch that isn't working properly and has become infected. Although they regret having the J-pouch procedure, they are staying positive and believe that life will get better once the pouch is removed.

Here are some pieces of advice and insights shared by others:

- Many people have offered words of encouragement, emphasizing that keeping a positive attitude can really help with the recovery process.
- Someone who had the same surgery two years ago shared a helpful tip: after the operation, it's important to avoid any physical exertion. This can help prevent the development of an uncomfortable and unsightly hernia.
