- Formulation and absorption issues:
- Liquid or chewable multivitamins are often recommended because solid tablets might pass through your system without being absorbed. You can check your output to see if pills remain intact.
- A liquid mineral complex may be more easily absorbed than tablets.

- Specific nutrients commonly supplemented after ileostomy:
